A flavour scent… Sage and Rosemary Dressing!

It happens to use this Sage and Rosemary Dressing quite a few times for my dishes thanks to my sage & rosemary pots that I cultivate at home. This dressing is pretty quick to make and the combined flavours are just a pleasure to have around in your kitchen. It smells divine!

The first time I used the Sage and Rosemary Dressing, was for the slowly roasted Mediterranean tomatoes and the results where far more than positive. The second time I used this dressing for a grilled chicken breast which I marinated before in this mixture and then I kept some of this Sage and Rosemary Dressing aside just enough to use as a dressing.

You can also use this Sage and Rosemary Dressing for pork, beef, rabbit, chicken & to roast any vegetables.

Here’s the recipe for you…

Sage and Rosemary Dressing


6 fresh sage leafs, finely chopped
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, chopped
5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp white wine vinegar or sherry vinegar
1/2 garlic clove, crushed
ground black pepper

Method for Sage and Rosemary Dressing

Chop the fresh sage and rosemary on a chopping board with a sharp chef’s knife.

– In a bowl add the white vinegar and whisk in the extra virgin olive oil with a whisk.

– Add the sage, rosemary, crushed garlic, salt & pepper while whisking.

– Set aside for a few minutes so that the herbs infuse in the dressing.
